- Voice Recordings: When you choose to record a reflection, the audio is stored locally on your device
- Name (optional): If you provide your name in settings, it's stored locally on your device
What We Don't Collect
- We do not collect your email address unless you contact us
- We do not track your location
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers
Apple Music
Alter uses Apple Music to stream songs. Your Apple Music subscription and listening data are governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your Apple Music account credentials or listening history outside of Alter.
Data Storage
Your personal data (name, recordings) is stored locally on your device. Session progress is synced with our servers to enable features like streaks, but this data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.
